MISSION ADVENTURES
BRING YOUR TEAM FOR A WEEK OF MISSIONS + SERVICE
Discover God's heart for the city! We host teams for a week of service, prayer, and education in Vancouver. We educate and expose you and your team to the realities of ministering in a city and equip your team to go home and get involved in what God is already doing in your home town.
WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM DO?
SERVICE
We'll serve in various local organizations that serve the people of Vancouver who are disadvantaged.
PRAYER
Through our Free Prayer minsitry, we'll pray for people in Vancouver. We'll also go on prayer walks and ask God to move in the city.
LEARN
We'll teach you about the realities and ministry in the city. We'll teach you about our city's many cultures and religions.
WORSHIP + BIBLE STUDY
Through our Free Prayer minsitry, we'll pray for people in Vancouver. We'll also go on prayer walks and ask God to move in the city.
WHAT WILL YWAM DO?
ORGANIZING
We'll set up all of your outreaches and trips, taking care of all of the logistics so you can focus on discipling your team.
HOSTING
One or more of our team members will go with you on all of your excursions and help you with your team's needs.
DEBRIEFING
We know that this can be a challenging trip for some, so we provide a structured debriefing time after every event and at the end of the week.
HOUSING + FEEDING
We'll set up your housing and provide food for your meals. As part of your cross cultural experience, we'll also take you to some of Vancouver's many ethnic restaurants.
DAY TRIPS
Whether you are a local church, small business, or a group of people visiting Vancouver, if you only have one day, this is a great fit for you! Get involved in spreading the love of Jesus in Vancouver. All you will have to worry about is getting here, we will do the rest!
URBAN PLUNGE
Understand God's heart for two starkly different areas of Vancouver: the Downtown Eastside and the Granville Robson area. Share lunch with someone experiencing homelessness. See how both extremes are in need of Jesus.
PRAY THE CITY
Pray for Vancouver and its people by participating in a Prayer Walk and Prayer Stations. On the Prayer Walk, pray for influential areas of our community. During Prayer Stations, offer "Free Prayer" to our neighbours in Vancouver and see God move.
TEMPLE TOUR
Learn about major world religions. You'll visit a Muslim Mosque, a Sikh Gurdwara, and a Buddhist Temple. By educating ourselves about other world religions, we can engage people of other faiths in meaningful dialogue about our own faith.
